Lefty and Romos' Bar and Grill: Experience American Dining at its Best

The atmosphere here is a combination of cabin meets sports bar. It does have a very open feeling to it with nice high ceilings and well lit. I ordered an appetizer of a pound of Chicken Wings ($15) in their Sweet and spicy. It's a good thing they are served by pound rather than how many, because they are pigeon wings. That being said they were good. Nice and tender and very tasty. Not that spicy either. The main reason I came was I heard they have an excellent steak. So I ordered the 12 oz Big Ugly Steak ($36). It came out as two 6 oz strips. The steaks are aged to perfection. I really enjoyed this steak. I came in with high expectations and it was met. I got a house salad that was very fresh and also excellent. My other side was mashed potatoes and these did not disappoint either. The service was super friendly. The table still needed cleaning, so maybe slightly understaffed, but they cover really well. Overall a 5 star review. Would I return? Absolutely!

It was our first time eating here. I tried the cajun gator. As much as I do like gator, I was disappointed with these. The problem to me is that they are so small that it is more breading than gator meat. It was more like eating tiny hush puppies. It was worth a try but, but for the money I'll get something else the next time. The atmosphere was nice, and the staff was really friendly and efficient.

This is a cool place to go. The food was amazing, Mallory was an amazing server, we were a table of 8 and she never let our drinks go empty. She was super friendly and gave great suggestions on what to order. The food came out fast and was delicious. We got fried pickles as an appetizer and they were delicious. Highly recommend this place for a delicious meal.

Had the white chili and chicken salad combo. While they were labeled half-size portions, they seemed full-sized to us. My only gripe is thatvthe chili was delivered luke warm rather than piping hot.

The "Baby Walleye" are hardly babies...they're perfect size fillets and perfectly prepared. The side salad could be a stand-alone meal! We've been here three times in the past few months and the food, service, and atmosphere never disappoint. Excellent food at reasonable prices!

Had dinner here the day before Mother's Day. We waited 15 minutes and were seated. The burger was great, don't recommend splurging on the bacon (no taste at all). Burger was cooked and seasoned perfect, was juicy and a ton of crispy beer battered fries! We also ordered the Ugly Steaks that were over cooked. Medium was Medium-well and the Medium-well was well and tough. The one that came out Medium well was good and seasoned good. The baked potatoes were super hot and fresh....so good! Service was average, but it was a full house as well. Recommend!

We arrived around 530pm on a beautiful Sunday evening after picking our son up from Blue Lake. We chose to sit outside and sat immediately. Kim was our server, and she was absolutely wonderful. Fun, upbeat, interacted with the kids. We ordered apps and were blown away. Huge portions, delicious tasting. We ordered 2 apps but probably only needed 1. We ordered our food and it came out quickly. The 2 boys' meals were great chicken strips and pasta. The portions were huge, and they could not eat it all. When I ordered my burger, I was asked how I wanted it cooked, and I said medium, there is even a statement on the menu that they are not responsible for burgers ordered well done. I could tell immediately they use a fresh patty, which is great. However, my first bite and the burger were well done and a bit dry. My wife got a French dip sandwich, and her first bite, the meat, was all grizzle and fat. The tots, however, that came with our sandwiches were delicious. Overall, we would probably go back just not order a burger or French dip. My sons hand breaded chicken strips looked excellent. Kim made the meal!! What an excellent server.

This place had a group of dedicated employees that where absolutely there, only to make your experience more enjoyable. The waitress was wonderfully patient and very attentive. The Signature Burger was the best burger that can remember ever eating. The two cheeses were so tasty made me think that the ½lb burger was too small. One of the cheeses was salty and carried the whole burger. Sweet potato fries were excellent too.
